Richard Sandy

As Vice President of Information Technology, Richard L Sandy is responsible for Data Center architecture, availability and security while driving key initiatives that accelerate customer success across Cybalt’s portfolio of services.

Richard brings 26 years of data center leadership, experience and expertise in the design, service and cybersecurity layers of data center operations. Prior to Cybalt, Richard held positions as Director of Data Center Operations in the pharmaceutical clinical trial space and Vice President of Data Center Infrastructure in the service and delivery space for both internal company operations and customer facing hosted solutions. Throughout his career in information technology he gained a deep understanding of the client’s security drivers and expected outcomes, as well as direct experience in clinical, HIPAA, Sarbanes Oxley and SOC 2 security compliance. As a data center leader Richard identified business challenges, defined strategic approaches, and collaborated with internal/external teams to improve operational efficiencies while reducing risk.
